Speaking about his grief, actor John, 67, said that he feels it's a "personal" experience, and that's it's important for others not to "complicate" it with their own.
He told Esquire Spain : "The most important thing you can do to help another when they are in mourning is to allow them to live it and not complicate it with yours.
That's my experience." John added that he's focusing on kids Ella, 21, and Ben, 10, both of whom he shared with Kelly. They had another son, Jett, who tragically died in 2009 aged just 16.
