John Stamos wanted nothing to do with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in the early "Full House" days, and he in fact got them fired after the pilot was filmed.
The actor dropped the bombshell while on Josh Peck's "Good Guys" podcast, saying he "couldn't deal" with the twins, who were 11 months old at the time of the pilot.John recalled him and Dave Coulier filming a scene with the girls, both of whom were "screaming.""They wanted to be anywhere else but there, and so did I," he said, adding that the crew kept unsuccessfully swapping out the twins. "I just couldn't deal with it.
I said, 'This is not going to work. Get rid of them. I can't work like this.'"John said it was "obvious" to everyone that Mary-Kate and Ashley were making the workplace difficult.
However, everyone quickly found out that the grass wasn't always greener on the other side after a different set of twins were hired."We tried the other kids and it didn't work," he recalled. "I said, 'Bring the Olsens back.
