John Stamos is on the mend after having surgery on his hand which he called an 'elective procedure.'On Friday, the Full House star took to Instagram and posted a series of photos taken during his stay at a hospital showing him wearing a traditional hospital gown and cap over his hair.He also shared a couple of snaps of his hand with a bandage on the palm, and a message where heimplied the surgery was done to correct a condition called Trigger Finger.

John Stamos gave fans a health update Thursday after spending time in the hospital.  The 58-year-old actor apparently went into for an "elective procedure," according to his post on Instagram.  "Damn you #Triggerfinger ! I went in for a quick elective procedure - In and out!" Stamos captioned a selfie of himself wearing a hospital gown. "Thanks to the fine doctors/nurses for taking such good care of me.
