The decision to send John Lundstram off for a tackle on Alistair Johnston in the title decider between Celtic and Rangers sparked utter fury from Kenny Miller – but none of his A-list colleagues agreed.
The Scouser – potentially playing in his final ever derby in Glasgow's east end – was shown a yellow card by referee Willie Collum before the video referee upgraded it to a straight red.
It compounded a disastrous day for the midfielder who bundled home Celtic's second goal into his own net. But it was the full-throttle tackle on Johnston which caused anger for Miler – working in the Sky Sports commentary booth – unleashed his anger over the call for Steven McLean to flag Collum to check the monitor.
Miller fumed: "That's never a red card. Look at the still, the way the game has gone now...that is not a red card. There's no way, every kick can't be a red card.
