John Lundstram adamant Rangers title charge is ‘not impossible’ as he salutes Michael Beale key trait

John Lundstram has highlighted communication as Rangers boss Michael Beale's key strength - as the midfielder refused to rule his side out of the title race.

Beale comes into the hot seat with the Glasgow giants trailing Celtic by nine points in the Scottish Premiership standings. Lundstram knows the task Beale has to regroup such a margin at the league’s summit but he has full faith the former QPR manager can bring the good times back to Ibrox and believes it’s “not impossible” to pull off a shock by lifting silverware come the end of the season.

He told Rangers TV: “We just need to take on board all the gaffers' new ideas and try to integrate the new style and new ideas. "It is all geared towards that and obviously getting our legs going again.

The league is the main focus and we really need to try and close the gap, that is the main aim. We fell behind and we are under no illusions it is going to be tough to get the nine points back but it's football it is not impossible, so let's see what happens.” Lundstram, who was instrumental in Rangers' sensational run to the Europa League final last season, waxed lyrical about Beale's style and ideas, however he admitted to having a lot of respect for what his predecessor Gio Van Bronckhorst achieved at the club.
