Shrek star John Lithgow weighed in on the possibility of appearing in Shrek 5. The 79-year-old actor voiced Lord Farquaad in the 2001 animated movie.

He said that he would “say yes in a minute” if the offer came through. However, he’s not all that optimistic. “It turns out it’s impossible to recover from being eaten by a dragon,” he joked. John said that “they haven’t approached [him]” about joining the movie. “I know nothing about it and no, I’m not a part of it,” he reiterated.
