The coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc on the lives of millions of people around the UK - and whole world - as people struggle with grief at having lost loved ones or being kept apart from their friends and families.
And this year, John Lewis is using its annual Christmas advert to try to bring a little sunshine into the lives of those who are struggling most.
The advert's simple message is 'give a little love' and has been inspired by Captain Sir Tom Moore - and will having people reaching for the tissues.
But in a first for the department store chain, the advert features an original track, penned and sung by Brit Award winner, Celeste.
