John Krasinski is revealing the details of his highly anticipated new project, IF. The 43-year-old The Office alum revealed a peek at his upcoming original family comedy-drama on Thursday (April 27) during 2023 CinemaCon.
The story is based on an original idea that John had about a child’s journey to rediscover their imagination.
He wrote and directed the movie that’s due for release on May 24, 2024. “I had this idea for a movie years ago about imaginary friends,” he explained in behind-the-scenes footage, via Deadline. “I want this movie to be believing in something bigger…and getting you through something bigger, that’s possible.” A bunch of A-list stars will be included in the production.
