John Kennedy insists the news that the Scottish Cup will be completed this side of the summer came as a massive lift to his side.
The knockout tournament was suspended in January, along with lower leagues in the SPFL and further down the pyramid. And many fans were worried the tournament might be scrapped entirely or bleed into next season as the 2019-20 edition did, when the Parkhead club triumphed over Hearts seven months after the final was originally scheduled.But an update this week confirmed this season's showpiece is set for May 22, two months after it's planned resumption with the completion of second round fixtures.
