John Hughes has claimed everybody is fired up to silence the critics who say they are doomed for the Premiership drop. The rock-bottom Staggies decided to move for ‘Yogi’ after Stuart Kettlewell was removed from his position following Saturday’s defeat to relegation rivals Hamilton.
The 56-year-old, who previously lifted the Scottish Cup with Highland rivals Inverness, knows eyebrows have been raised and reckons he and his team have already been written off in some quarters. “You would not believe how much desire I have to bring success here and prove one or two people wrong as a manager and coach for my team," Hughes told Ross County TV. “People are writing us off.
