Joey King Suffers Facial Burns from Hot Cooking Oil

Joey King is recovering after she suffered burns to her face and neck. The 25-year-old actress was cooking at home when hot oil splattered out of the pan and made contact with her skin. Joey took to her Instagram Stories to share photos of the aftermath.

Keep reading to find out more… “I burned myself a few days ago by throwing shallots into a pan of hot oil and I called my mom to tell her and she says, ‘See that’s why I hate cooking,’” Joey wrote along with the skull and crossbones emoji. Joey is back to her normal look after bleaching her eyebrows earlier in the month.
