Love Island’s first ever celebrity bombshell, Joey Essex, was dumped before the Love Island finale on Monday 29 July, and he has revealed how unimpressed he was about how things played out for him in his first interview this week.
Joey’s exit was brutal as a crowd of Islanders – including returning contestants who had previously left the show – rounded on him and aired their grievances about his behaviour during his time on the series.
In an interview with The Sun, Joey spoke about how being put in that position with everyone criticising him to his face would have been awful for a less experienced, younger personality, and that he told bosses he wasn't happy with how he was treated. “You’ve got to remember, I’m a human, I’ve got feelings.
