Joel McHale Set for 'Scream 7' & He's Playing Someone Important to Sidney Prescott!
justjared.comA new actor has joined the Scream franchise. Joel McHale, 53, is set to play the role of Mark Evans, the husband of Sidney Prescott, in the upcoming film Scream 7.
Meanwhile, Neve Campbell will be returning as Sidney. Neve played Sidney in the first five Scream movies, and was mentioned in the sixth. Keep reading to find out more… The production from Spyglass and Paramount Pictures is currently being filmed in Atlanta.
While little is known about the film’s plot, it has also been confirmed that Courteney Cox and Mason Gooding are returning as their respective characters Gale Weathers and Chad Meeks-Martin.
Actors Isabel May, Celeste O’Connor, Asa Germann, Mckenna Grace, Sam Rechner, and Anna Camp are also signed on for the film, with Isabel playing Prescott’s daughter.
