It was a really confusing time and I was upset in so many ways – I couldn’t see my family and friends – but I had this connection with people on a massive scale that I don’t think I’ll ever replicate.
I was proud and when it finished I felt down. It was like after winning a medal at the Olympic Games – I felt flat and wondered what I would do next.I’ve always said if there’s ever a lockdown and a time that people need me I’ll definitely get back on it and be there.
