They'd had mutual friends and followed each other on social media before they got together in 2016, after the Jonas Brothers star, 30, slid into her DMs.

Sophie, 24, explained to Harper's Bazaar: "We had a lot of mutual friends and they'd been trying to introduce us for a long time. "We were following each other on Instagram and he direct-messaged me one fine day, out of the blue." And after that they were inseparable, enjoying dates on both sides of the Atlantic as Sophie joined him on tour.
