Jodie Turner-Smith has been seen for the first time in costume as Anne Boleyn. The British actress plays the second wife of Henry VIII in a three-part psychological thriller, which seeks to "shine a feminist light" on the Tudor Queen's story.
The 34-year-old will star as Boleyn in the Channel 5 drama, which is told from the queen's point of view and focuses on her final months before she was beheaded by Henry in 1536 for failing to produce a male heir.
Jodie was seen on set for the first time in Yorkshire this week, wearing a warm coat over a period costume. She wore her hair pinned back beneath a black headpiece attached to a white veil.
