Jodie Marsh, the former glamour model turned farm owner, has opened up about her financial struggles.The 45 year old, who was a regular feature in the tabloids during the Noughties, revealed that she went from earning £30,000 per photoshoot to struggling to pay her mortgage.

Jodie confessed to making some questionable financial decisions after finding fame. Despite landing a high-profile TV gig that paid £150,000, Jodie claimed she "never saw" the money.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, she shared her financial difficulties upon retiring from showbiz, saying: "I was so fed up, I was getting trolled and people were just being nasty to me all the time, it was just horrible.

So I sort of stepped out of the limelight but then it came a point where I couldn't afford to even pay my mortgage." Now running an animal sanctuary, Fripps Farm, Jodie faces monthly costs of £24,000.
