Joaquin Phoenix kept a low profile at a screening for his highly anticipated new movie Beau Is Afraid.
The 48-year-old Oscar-winning actor joined writer and director Ari Aster along with most of his co-stars at the New York City screening on Thursday (April 6) at Metrograph in downtown Manhattan.
Also in attendance were Amy Ryan, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Kylie Rogers, Armen Nahapetian, and Julia Antonelli.
In Beau Is Afraid, a paranoid man goes on an epic odyssey in order to get back home. The A24 film will be released in New York and Los Angeles on April 14 and everywhere on April 21.
