Joanne O’Riordan’s list of achievements is impressive. At just 25 years of age, the Cork native has already ticked giving an inspiring UN speech, appearing as a panellist of RTÉ’s Tokyo Paralympics coverage and working as a sports journalist, writing for the likes of the Irish Times, off her to-do list.
Add to that her degree in Criminology from UCC, winning Young Person of the Year and nabbing the title for International Outstanding Young Person of the Year for her work as a disability activist and you’ll understand just how phenomenal the young woman really is.
