Pop star Jennifer Lopez recently introduced a new short film about her non-binary nibling (sister’s child) and their experience as a transgender young person and use of art as a coping mechanism.
Draw With Me follows Lopez’s nibling, Brendon Scholl, as they discuss their experience coming to terms with their gender identity and coming out to the people around them.
The film features interviews with Scholl, their parents, and other family members. Lopez shared the trailer of the film to her Instagram on Saturday (August 22) along with a message. “The film is important and timely in its story and message and can have a huge impact on those of us who watch and experience what Brendon and their family is going through in this time of acceptance
