Jet2 has warned passengers of ‘delays’ due to ‘adverse weather conditions’ in parts of Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean.

The airline said it was experiencing Air Traffic Control slot delays and urged passengers to allow plenty of time to travel to the airport if their destination is experiencing bad weather.

The delays are impacting those who are due to arrive, depart or fly across the Eastern Mediterranean and the Balearic Islands.

Jet2 has issued the warning from July 1 to July 3. It comes as storms batter the Balearic Islands, while heavy rain is forecast over parts of mainland Europe including Austria, Czechia and Poland, according to weather site accuweather.com.
