Jet2 and Ryanair have warned passengers of potential ‘disruption’ to flights tomorrow as Storm Ashley is set to batter the UK.
It comes as the Met Office has issued yellow and amber warnings for wind covering areas of Wales, north west England, Scotland and Northern Ireland for Sunday.
Gusts of up to 80mph are forecast for parts of western Scotland tomorrow afternoon, with ‘strong winds’ of up to 50-60mph expected elsewhere.
In a statement on its website, Jet2.com said it continued to monitor the UK forecast in light of Storm Ashley. The airline said it plans to operate as usual but there could be “disruption” if conditions “deteriorate” due to the storm.
