Jessie J has confirmed she is pushing forward with her plans to become a mum after going through a miscarriage. The Do It Like A Dude singer surprised fans when she revealed she had become pregnant with her first child in November 2021, but simultaneously delivered the devastating news that she had miscarried the baby.Since then, Jessie, 34, has found love with basketball player Chanan Colman and it’s believed their romance is still going strong.

During her latest show London’s Koko in Camden on Tuesday, the pop star got personal with her supportive fans and shared her baby plans.‘Being 34 in this outfit is different now,’ the singer reportedly told the audience, referring to her striking multi-coloured bodysuit.

She continued according to The Sun: ‘When I talk to my parents after a gig I take it off. This whole celebrity thing is so weird to me and how people are even more obsessed with how I look than I am.‘I have gained weight and I’ve not been to the gym in ages, but honestly, I feel great.

I’m not 17 any more and I want to make a baby and I am trying to do that and my body is changing shape.’ Jessie recently spoke about her miscarriage at length, and revealed the baby had died between her having two scans on the same day. ‘I just knew, something wasn’t the same,’ she recalled on Steven’s The Diary Of A CEO podcast. ‘That dreadful silence when you first have a scan and I was like, just tell me the truth what’s going on and she said, “your baby’s heartbeat is very low and there’s this ring”, and I said, “well what does that mean?”’ she shared. ‘She said, “it often means your baby will have some type of disability or deformity… the baby’s heartbeat is very weak”.
