Jessica Simpson is spending the day with her kids. The 44-year-old singer, actress, and fashion designer arrived at a theater with her daughter Maxwell, 12, and son Ace, 11, (not pictured) to check out a movie on Friday afternoon (December 27) in Calabasas, Calif.

For her outing, Jessica went colorful in an orange coat, jeans, platform heeled boots, and sunglasses while carrying a leopard-print bag. Jessica was noticeably not wearing her wedding ring amid speculation that she and husband Eric Johnson are headed to a divorce.

Amid the rumors, a source recently shared some insight into the current status of their relationship. Along with Maxwell and Ace, Jessica and Eric, 45, are also parents to 5-year-old daughter Birdie. Ashlee Simpson, Jessica‘s younger sister, also recently addressed the rumors.
