On Wednesday (February 12), the 44-year-old mogul and pop star took to social media to reveal the impending release of her single “Use My Heart Against Me.” She teased the song and hinted at plans for a long-awaited new album. The video also included a snippet of the song. “Go on, use my heart against me,” Jessica sings in the snippet. “Don’t miss you / Don’t confuse my love.” “It’s an album where I think you’re seeing someone take control of their own artistry,” a collaborator teased.
The news comes a month after Jessica announced that she and Eric had separated. They were married for 10 years, and she explained the decision in a statement. Jessica‘s most recent album Happy Christmas arrived in 2010.
