It looks like Jessica Simpson really is heading toward a divorce! The singer shocked fans on Monday when she posted a cryptic Instagram carousel hinting at a split from her husband Eric Johnson.

While neither half of the couple has commented on the speculation yet, TMZ learned on Tuesday that two people directly connected to Jessica have spoken to two different divorce lawyers in the last two months about her marriage.

The person wanted to set up a meeting between the actress and the lawyer. It’s unclear if this was done per Jessica’s request, and she has not made any contact with that lawyer at this point.
