Jessica Chastain is speaking out to slam a headline that she says is “click bait.” The Oscar-winning actress took to Twitter in response to a Los Angeles Times article that had the headline, “Jessica Chastain shopped at Target to get into character as a normal person ‘who leads a simple life’ for her new movie.” Jessica has opened up about preparing for her movie Memory by going shopping at Target to buy her own costumes.

She stars in the film as a social worker who leads a “simple” life. “I was in Nashville at the time, and I went to Target,” Jessica told IndieWire. “We were moving quickly.

I think I spent like $130 and I brought it back, and we did a fitting.
