To mark Baby Loss Awareness Week and to raise awareness, Love Island star Jess Hayes has opened up on her own experience of coping with grief after suffering a devastating miscarriage last year.
The 28-year-old, who found fame by winning the first series of Love Island, tragically lost her baby Teddy at 19 weeks, and has now revealed to OK!
she suffered PTSD [post traumatic stress disorder] after the heartbreaking time in her life. "I suffered with PTSD for a while and it does [losing a baby] have an affect on your mental health," she told us. "It's a trauma and it's PTSD and that's really hard to deal with.
