“Jersey Shore” is kept a secret — even from the show’s cast. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi revealed that she and her reality show roommates do not get to preview its new episodes; instead, they watch them for the first time when they air.“We have no idea how it’s edited or what’s gonna happen.
So when you guys are watching it, we’re watching it with you,” she told The Post ahead of the Season 7 premiere of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” on Feb.
8.“And then we’re like, ‘Oh, she said that about me?’ So it’s kind of like we’re fans of our own show.”The mom of three actually views the MTV series — a spinoff of “Jersey Shore” — alone in her car while she waits for her daughter, Giovanna, to finish cheerleading practice. “Usually every time it’s on, I’m at pickup at cheer for my daughter … so I watch the whole episode on my phone … so nobody sees all the craziness because I never know what’s going to happen,” she explained.“So I literally watch it in the parking lot at my daughter’s cheer practice.
I can’t watch it at home because my kids will sit and watch it with me. And I don’t know if mommy will be drunk or if mommy’s swearing.”Polizzi, 36, and her castmates — Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Angelina Pivarnick, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, Vinny Guadagnino and Deena Cortese — touch base as they watch their drama unfold. (Ronnie Ortiz-Magro stepped away from filming in 2021 to focus on his mental health, but has made an appearance on the spinoff since.)“We’re texting and we’re like, ‘Oh my God, that happened?’ and ‘Ewww, why’d you say that?’” she said. The crew, who first appeared together on “Jersey Shore” in 2009, communicate via group text daily, even when not filming.
