The late Jerry Springer revealed a surprising talent during his final TV appearance, just six months before his death.The TV host's passing was announced on Thursday afternoon by a family spokesperson, who told the press: "Jerry's ability to connect with people was at the heart of his success in everything he tried whether that was politics, broadcasting or just joking with people on the street who wanted a photo or a word. "He's irreplaceable and his loss hurts immensely, but memories of his intellect, heart and humor will live on." His final television appearance saw Jerry reveal his secret singing talent, as he appeared as Beetle on the American version of The Masked Singer.
He took part in the popular show in October 2022 and proved to be a popular contestant with the audience chanting his name following his unmasking.
After he was unmasked, Jerry told host Nick Cannon: "When I sing, people get involved because they have to guess where the notes were supposed to have been.
It's like interactive." His appearance on The Masked Singer came after Jerry semi-retired from television, following the cancellation of his show Judge Jerry.
