Jerry Bruckheimer is echoing Johnny Depp‘s statements about his future with the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
The director spoke to The Sunday Times about the future of the franchise, just weeks after Johnny testified about his involvement during his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard. Jerry indicated that it would be unlikely that Johnny would return to a potential sixth movie to play Captain Jack Sparrow. “Not at this point,” he said when asked about the subject. “The future is yet to be decided.” Although, Jerry did ay that he’s looking at another actor to lead more Pirates movies.
