Jeremy Strong Says He Doesn’t Miss Playing Kendall Roy On ‘Succession’: “It F***ed Me Up”

The Succession star said in a recent interview that he does not miss playing the character he gave life to on the HBO drama for four seasons. “It f*** me up,” Strong told The Sunday Times about playing Kendall.
Strong says that Succession “was an incalculable gift” and added, “The material a banquet. So I miss that. But Kendall’s struggle was difficult to carry for seven years.
And there’s just so much more I want to do.” The actor won an Emmy in 2020 for his role in the series, but don’t expect him to carry Kendall on in a spinoff series. “It’s not something I have any wish to do any longer.
I’m aware it is one of the main chapters of my life, but I don’t miss it,” he said. Jesse Armstrong created Succession about the Roy family and their fight for control of the global media company amid concerns over the patriarch’s health.
