A triumphant return. Jeremy Renner was joined by his daughter, Ava, on his first red carpet since his near-fatal snowplow accident.The Marvel actor, 52, attended the premiere of his show Rennervations on Tuesday, April 11, with Ava, 10, by his side.
Renner used a cane for assistance when he arrived at the Westwood Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles. He held onto his daughter’s hand and donned a pair of dark sunglasses.The father-daughter duo, who wore matching blue ensembles for the event, posed for photos together as they celebrated the new Disney+ reality series.
Renner used a motorized scooter as he completed press interviews.While speaking to Variety, the California native explained that he was “really adamant” about not letting his injuries get in the way of his work. “I look a little beat up right now, but I promise you this show is what’s propelling me to get better and makes me want to get better every day,” he said on Tuesday. “I set out a goal to be walking this carpet.
And here I am enjoying it. … I’m very excited right now because we’re here.”Renner’s return to the red carpet comes three months after he was crushed by a snowplow in Reno, Nevada.
