'Jeopardy!' Season 40 Might Be In Actual Jeopardy Amid The WGA & SAG-AFTRA Strikes

There are new reports suggesting that season 40 of the most popular game show could be delayed due to not only the WGA strike, but the SAG-AFTRA strike as well. Keep reading to find out more… In a report from TV Insider, the outlet says that creatives behind the show, including executive producer Michael Davies have plans for every outcome of the strikes.
However, fans are still worried about if the show could, or even should continue, given the strike and their support of the WGA – which the majority of Jeopardy!’s writing staff are part of.
In addition, who the host will be is also still a topic of conversation. Mayim Bialik missed the last week of season 39 filming to support the WGA strike, with Ken Jennings stepping in.
However, he is facing some “pressure”, the outlet adds, to step away as well to support the writers on the show. Should the strikes continue on, Jeopardy!
