Jenny Powell updated followers on her Instagram as she embarked on a 'three generations road trip' with her mum Myra and her eldest daughter Connie.
The former Wheel of Fortune and Gimme 5 star and her family were forced to travel from Manchester to London for a Prostate Cancer UK event by car following rail strikes.
They made the journey in tribute to Jenny's dad, Leslie, who they lost to prostate cancer at the age of 93 in July last year.
Following his death Jenny paid an emotional tribute to 'the most beautiful soul and father.' The trio climbed into the car with six bananas and three bottles of water for the trip after Jenny launched the This Is Manchester awards at a breakfast held at the Dakota hotel. "This is where the road trip begins," she said into the camera on her Instagram Stories.
