In a surprise move, Jennifer Salke is stepping down as head of Amazon MGM Studios after seven years. The news was just shared with staff by Mike Hopkins in a memo, which you can read below.

Salke is segueing to a first-look film and TV producing deal with the studio. Salke will not be replaced, with Head of TV Vernon Sanders and Head of TV Courtney Valenti reporting to Hopkins.

Sue Kroll will also continue in her role as head of global marketing across both film and TV.
