Jennifer Lopez Developing New Amazon Prime Video Series 'Backwards in Heels'
justjared.comJennifer Lopez is taking on a new project! Deadline writes that the 52-year-old “Let’s Get Loud” performer is developing a new series titled Backwards in Heels at Amazon Prime. Click inside to read more… The outlet writes that the show “follows the aspirational and timeless story about the glamourous women living at the Barbizon Hotel in post-WWII New York City.” Located in Manhattan’s Upper East side, the hotel was a female-only residence for young women who moved to New York City for professional opportunities.
No men were permitted above the ground floor, and there were strict dress and conduct rules put in place. Famous residents included Rita Hayworth, Joan Crawford, Grace Kelly, Lauren Bacall, Betty Buckley and more. Jennifer, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, and Benny Medina will produce under their Nuyorican Productions.
