Jennifer Lawrence‘s next movie is headed to Sony Pictures. THR reports that the pic, titled No Hard Feelings, was being fought over by many studios, and was ultimately won by Sony.
The movie is described as a coming-of-age dramedy, set in New York’s Montauk and is described as having tones of Tom Cruise’s 1983 film Risky Business and Bad Teacher.
The pic will be directed by Gene Stupnitsky, who wrote and co-exec produced The Office. The movie, which almost every studio was circling around, was eventually won by Sony and will see Jennifer earn around $25 million, with Gene‘s fee in the seven figures. Jennifer is also in line for another major payday for another new movie, in which she would play talent manager Sue Mengers.
