She was joined at the event by the creator of the awards ceremony, Byron Allen, who donned a classic tuxedo on the red carpet.Latifah, 52, turned heads as she arrived in a billowing marigold gown with voluminous ruffles.The unique floor-length number had a shirt-style bodice while the skirt was ruffled similarly to the large flower-like ruffling that was protruding from the dress' waistline.
