Jennifer Aniston has opened up about how she has turned to therapy to help her through the tough times and being the target of intense media scrutiny.

The 52-year-old told People how she is in a ‘peaceful place’ in her life now and credits a combination of counselling, self reflection and meditation for helping her to reach this point. ‘Self-awareness is key.

I’ve gotten a lot out of therapy,’ she confessed to the media outlet. ‘Just being a public person, there’s a lot of amazing things that come with that.

But there’s also a lot of tough stuff, because we’re only human and we tend to walk around with bulls-eyes on our heads,’ she explained.
