The Big Brother star, 43, who put aside his feud with the Friends star in 2011 after a chance encounter in LA led to Jennifer confronting the blogger on why he had been targeting her, believes that the Rachel Greene character "may have announced" the "joyous" news already.
He adds that Jennifer would only tell her close pals the life update if "the paperwork was done and there's no chance of it falling through." Perez told Closer magazine: "I think she may have announced it to her friends as the adoption has already happened.
