Jenelle Lauren Evans (born December 19, 1991) is a reality television star, who rose to fame on MTV's Teen Mom 2. She was originally chronicled on MTV's 16 and Pregnant, where she gave birth to a son Jace with father Andrew Lewis. In 2019, after ten years, Evans was fired by MTV after her husband David Eason shot and killed their pet dog. On October 31, 2019, it has been announced that Evans will be filing a divorce from Eason after two years of marriage. As of November 2, 2019, Evans and Eason are legally separated.

Jenelle began to worry after Jace went missing after school. She was unable to locate him. So she reached out to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Department to report her son as a runaway.Jace Evans was located a few hours later and returned home with Jenelle.
She spoke with TMZ, who first reported Jace’s disappearance, telling them it all started after Jace got into trouble at school.
