Jena Malone is opening up about what happened after it was reported that she chased down an alleged dog abuser in Los Angeles.

The 37-year-old actress, best known for The Hunger Games and Saved, says she saw a man abusing a dog while driving down Sunset Boulevard in L.A. “This was really scary.

I saw a man kicking repeatedly a small dog on the sunset, yanking him up in the air and absolutely choking the dog. I yelled at him to stop from my car but he wouldn’t.

I got out of my car to try and get the dog but he started running,” Jena began a thread on Twitter. Click inside to read the rest of what she said… She continued, “So I started chasing him.
