Steven J. Horowitz Senior Music Writer Jelly Roll has announced his upcoming 10th studio album “Beautifully Broken,” releasing on Oct.
11. The album, named after his upcoming headlining tour, will include the singles “I Am Not Okay” and “Liar,” as well as the freshly released “Get By.” ESPN recently chose “Get By” to serve as the 2024 College Football Season anthem.
The singer, also known for his humanitarian efforts, will donate all net profits from each pre-order of the album on his site to various organizations helping individuals who struggle with mental health and addiction. “I’m looking for songs that have purpose,” he said of the album in an interview with the New York Times Magazine. “When I go to put out a song under the name Jelly Roll, I think to myself, Why?
Because for the first time in my life, it has nothing to do with a financial decision. I’m well past putting out anything for money.
