Jeff Brazier says 'stubborn' Bobby 'sulked for hours' on disastrous family trip

TV presenter Jeff Brazier is taking his younger son Freddie on an epic adventure as part of BBC's Celebrity Race Across the World - as the pair aim to travel from the Amazon Rainforest to the Andes mountains in just five weeks.

Racing against three other famous pairs, the duo must cross 12,500km to get to the final checkpoint with a small budget, no phone, no wallet and a tight deadline.

Jeff has opened up asking 19 year old Freddie to take on the BBC show with him - and explained that he didn't want to take his famous son Bobby, 21, after one hilariously disastrous trek on a Scottish holiday.

Speaking to OK! in an exclusive chat, Jeff said that his EastEnders star son isn't the best with tough terrains. "No disrespect to Bob, but I had more confidence going with Fred," he says. "Bobby is more stubborn and less willing in terms of how much discomfort he’ll put himself through." He added: "Once upon a time, I decided while we were in Scotland to climb a mountain with my children.
