After a few ups and downs on the latest series of Celebrity Race Across the World, telly favourite Jeff Brazier was seen bursting with pride over his son Freddie following an intimate reveal about the youngster's diagnosis of ADHD.
Freddie, who turns 20 this month, shared his struggles during a heartwarming segment on Wednesday's episode (September 4) when him and dad Jeff were trekking through South America.
In one particularly poignant moment, he took viewers back to his childhood challenges with some candid revelations. Discussing his memories of of school, Freddie said it was a tactical fight for focus after being given the ADHD diagnosis when he was 10. "I don't think I was bad but I weren't good," he said.
Jeff, who is now a lifecoach and published author as well as a TV presenter, admitted he couldn't fully understand how his youngest son's mind worked, but said he had huge faith in him. "I couldn't hazard a guess on how Fred's mind works but I know he's going to do something amazing in his lifetime," he said.
