Jeff Blitz To Direct & Exec Produce NBC’s Liz & Jeff Astrof Cheerleading Comedy Pilot ‘Stumble’

EXCLUSIVE: Emmy-winner Jeff Blitz (The Office, Review) is set to directand executive produce Stumble, a single-camera comedy pilot from writers/executive producers Liz Astrof (Pivoting) and Jeff Astrof (Shining Vale) and executive producers Monica Aldama and Dana Honor.

Written by the Astrof siblings, Stumble is a mockumentary about the ridiculously high stakes and competitive world of junior college cheer.

Liz Astrof and Jeff Astrof executive produce alongside cheerleading coach Monica Aldama, known for her appearance on the Netflix docuseries Cheer, and producer Dana Honor through her Defining Eve Productions.

In addition to directing, Blitz will executive produce the pilot only. Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, is the studio.
