Jedward star still ‘dying inside’ after life-threatening appendix operation

Jedward’s Edward Grimes has taken to social media to remind fans not to judge a book by its cover following his recent health scare.

The 29-year-old was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery to have his appendix removed just as the Eurovision aired and a few days on, he is still feeling a little worse for wear despite looking a lot more like his usual self. ‘I want you all to know that just because I’ve shaved, put a bit of concealer on, put eye drops in to make my eyes look white, it does not mean that I’m not dying inside,’ he explained. ‘[I’m] literally going through so many symptoms so I think just in life in general even if people put up strong faces does not mean that they’re not going through darkness inside or health conditions.
