Jay Park has shared that he wants to “take back” his previous comments about retiring from the music industry. In a recent episode of MBC’s Radio Star, Park shared that he wanted to retract a statement he had made in a previous episode of the show. “I mentioned retiring the last time I was on this show.

I would like to take that back,” he said per SBS Star.Park previously hinted at his retirement in early 2022, shortly after stepping down from his CEO role of his hip-hop and R&B labels AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC.“There were too many things on my plate that I had to manage on my own.

It felt like I was just going through each day, trying to survive and nothing more. I didn’t want to keep pushing myself like that, which is why I thought about retiring,” he said of his past remarks. However, the singer later founded More Vision, a new K-pop label that currently represents the likes of Chung Ha and Honey J. “As I play a significant role in the new company I started, I’ve put off retiring for the time being,” he said, though he still wants to retire at some point. “It feels right to step away while you’re still doing well,” he explained. He went on to share some of his upcoming plans for More Vision, which include two new K-pop groups. “I’m preparing to debut both a male and female K-pop group, aiming for next year or the year after.

I’m a huge fan of hip-hop, you know, so the groups will have that kind of vibe,” he teased, adding that there are currently 11 trainees he is considering for the new acts.In other K-pop news, soloist WOODZ has taken to SoundCloud to surprise fans with a new song featuring Day6’s Young K.
