Scotland was hit with terrible weather over the weekend, with storms Eunice and Dudley reaping havoc over the country. Stand up comedian Jason Manford just happened to be in Edinburgh performing at the Playhouse and took to Facebook to share the travel chaos he got caught up in, trying to return home.

He even went on to compare the weather fiasco to 1998 Jim Carrey comedy-drama, The Truman Show.Posting a video of the heavy snowfall, he wrote: "Well Scotland I didn’t realise you wanted me to stay in your country so badly!

Wasn't quite as bad going west but I think it's coming this way. Safe journey, was a great night!"Jason finally gave his followers an update on his journey. He declared: "Made it home!"The comic appeared to enjoy his night at the Playhouse and even posted a selfie with the audience on his Instagram page.He wrote: "This was me taking a photo of the crowd at the Edinburgh
